Essence and Dante contacted me to inquire about engagement photos. As the conversation grew, I learned that they had decided on a destination wedding!
How amazingly cool is that?!? Of course, this put me into thinking mode…How can we reveal their destination wedding from the start? Then, it hit me! We are
taking it global. I started to style the session by utilizing the colors from their wedding. Yellow and grey with a kiss of turquoise. How can we make this unique…ah-ha!
Vintage suitcases, a vintage globe and a train station. That my friends was the beginning of this session…Inspiration Destination. Come along and take a journey as you see
the images created with Essence and Dante, who are taking their love to the tropical!
The bride to be had her makeup done by none other than Patricia Solis of Makeup by Trish. Her dress was purchased at Nordstorm, the amazing shoes are from designer Badgley Mischka. The groom to be rocked a suit from Calvin Klein and shoes from Cole Haan. This gorgeous couple really did make my job easy! LOVE them and their style!
It was pure chance that while we were unloading, a person that is in charge of this abandoned train station would say…”Hey want to come in” Uhm….YES! That my friends is where all fun began…
We decided that it would be amazing to incorporate these images into their invitations. As I laid out the design, I fell in love! As an artist nothing feels quite as good as your client loving what you created so much, that they want to share it on their invitations and more. What an honor!
The wedding is next year in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and I am over the moon excited to share the images of their tropical get away .
Thank you for visiting the blog and taking a journey through Essence and Dante’s amazing session!
