On December 6, 2013 KC and Bishal united their families in love. The backdrop was The Bear Creek Resort, in Macungie, PA. This wedding was rich in cultural and customs. It was a beautiful thing to see the love shown from all the family members . Everyone took an active role in making the look complete. Cousins, sisters, mother, and mother-in-law all helped in dressing the bride. She looked radiant! The Henna tattoos on the hands were stunning. I was blown away by the detail and time invested in all the Nepali traditions. Take a look and enjoy this colorful and gorgeous wedding
The bride and groom had a “1st look” dressed in there traditional Nepalis wedding attire. It was flawless. Bishal was awestruck at KC’s beauty.
Bishal wore this amazing suit with a sword. It is called a “Daura-Suruwal” . The fabric was rich with texture and color.
The final touches are put on the groom before he is presented to his bride in the presence of the guests.
I loved that the bride and groom came down the aisle to music! I had to resist the urge to join in the dancing! After all, I need in focus images 😉 The flowers were thrown by mother of the bride , Debbie.
The groom is presented by the mother and father of the bride as is the bride.
The flower exchange was stunning. I was in constant amazement at the amount of exchanges that took place between the family members and the bride and groom. Everyone was involved, it was lovely!
As you can see here, the family has now been united…
The bride and groom now change into their American style wedding clothes
The details…oh the lovely details…the pink up lights, the sparkly lights, the heart well do’s and the gorgeous traditional accents, completed the look!
Oh how sweet! The cake was delicious and exquisitely done. The bride and groom on top of the cake were so perfect!
The 1st dances are always so beautiful to see. The connections between father and daughter, and son and mother always make me tear up!
The speeches were touching…I may or may not have wiped off some tears….( you will never know 😉 ) Now, let the partying begin!!!
The Bear even came out to say ‘Congratulations!” It was sweet and cuddly awesomeness! Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Basynat for allowing me to be a part of your day, your love story. I am honored and thankful! All the best and much love to you both ~ Tania
