I met Andrea (who is a photographer) quite a few years ago through a mutual friend and photographer, Amy. Just a few short years later and Andrea and Jim met and fell in love! The date was set for 10.18.2015. You can imagine my joy when she called to ask if I would shoot her wedding. What an honor! There is such an amount of happiness that comes from capturing the I do’s of those that have the same craft…you really want to give them what they want- they way they’d do it for you!
When I arrived at their home, I noticed all the details that Andrea carefully arranged … her something borrowed, something blue (her dad’s ring), something old and something new! It was perfect! It’s very special to see a brides vision come to life and to be a part of making the memories a reality for them! I especially loved her furbaby being a part of the images-look close; you’ll see
Andrea made a gorgeous bride! Flawless even! We parted ways to the ceremony and reception site, Brigalia’s in Sicklerville, New Jersey. It was an absolutely stunning backdrop for the day’s events. There is a chapel separate from the reception area and oh my word…it is just incredible. Everything from the pergola, LOVE feature, museum steps and the decor was flawless. The 1st look was in order and Jim walked to his bride with such much joy! The look on his face was priceless. His eyes wide and full of happiness from seeing his gorgeous best friend and wife… He gave her a twirl and took it all in! It was truly beautiful to witness…
The ceremony was nothing short of spectacular. They exchanged heartfelt I do’s and literally “tied the knot”. Before God, friends and family they promised forever and always. Something that stood out to me was the centerpieces…. Ok…I’ll admit seeing their engagement images that I took made my heart swell, however, it meant more because they chose beautiful scriptures to share with their guests. The Song of Solomon 7:1 was shared on table #1. “ How beautiful your sandaled feet, O prince’s Daughter! Your graceful legs are like jewels, the work of an artist’s hands” What a beautiful poem, a testament to the arrangement of marriage. A wonderful start to your journey!
Relive the moments of the day and see all the love that was put into this day. The sweet dessert bar, the awesome best friend dance to the the Golden Girls theme song “Thank you for being a friend” and more…I can honestly say “And they lived happily ever after”…just look at the smiles and happiness during all the dancing-it was just shear joy! My prayer for you both is that you enjoy many years of health and happiness. I wish you nothing but the best! Thank you again for trusting me to be a part of your day, to be your memory keeper, it was a true honor.
All my love,
